# Business Description Ailsa's Aim is a national registered charity dedicated to supporting people affected by cancer and families with babies receiving neonatal care. Founded from lived experience, we provide practical, emotional and wellbeing support at no cost to those who need it most. Our services include care packs for adults and children, neonatal support packs, free RADAR keys, respite breaks, wellbeing activities, mobility equipment loans, and community-based initiatives designed to reduce isolation and improve quality of life. Alongside our direct support, we work closely with NHS hospitals, healthcare professionals, businesses, community groups and other charities across the UK to ensure help reaches people when they need it most. We also operate a community hub in Higham Ferrers, offering affordable new goods alongside free community essentials to help families facing the ongoing cost of living crisis. Through fundraising events such as Aim High Festival and partnerships with local and national organisations, we continue to expand our impact while raising awareness of the challenges faced by cancer patients and neonatal families. Everything we do is centred around one simple aim: **putting people first**. By combining compassion, practical support and strong community partnerships, we help thousands of families every year through some of life's most challenging moments.

"At Ailsa's Aim, we're more than a charity – we're a lifeline for families when they need it most. Every day, we work to ensure that no one facing cancer or experiencing the challenges of neonatal care has to do so alone. Everything we do is driven by compassion, dignity and a genuine desire to make life just that little bit easier. What sets us apart? Completely free support – Every care pack, RADAR key, respite break, wellbeing session and piece of practical support is provided free of charge to those who qualify. National reach with a local heart – While we're proudly based in Northamptonshire, we support families across the UK through our network of hospitals, healthcare professionals and community partners. Practical help that makes an immediate difference – From care bags and emergency essentials to respite holidays, yoga, skincare sessions and mobility equipment, we provide support that has a real impact from day one. No one-size-fits-all approach – We understand that everyone's journey is different. That's why we offer tailored support for cancer patients, neonatal families, children, siblings, carers and loved ones. Community at our core – Through initiatives such as Aim High Festival, community hubs, partnerships with local businesses and collaborations with other charities, we bring people together and create stronger, more connected communities. Collaboration over competition – We believe charities achieve more when they work together. By partnering with organisations, businesses and volunteers, we maximise every donation and extend our reach to help more people. Transparency and value for money – We work incredibly hard to ensure every pound donated goes as far as possible. We continually seek donations, sponsorship and partnerships to reduce costs and maximise the support we can provide. Founded from lived experience – Ailsa's Aim was created by people who have experienced cancer and neonatal care first-hand. Everything we offer has been shaped by real experiences and genuine understanding of what families actually need. Every donation, volunteer hour, sponsorship and partnership helps us reach another family who may be facing one of the most difficult times in their lives. Together, we're not just providing support – we're restoring hope, reducing isolation and showing people that they are never alone."
